Dr. Yalchin Efendiev's world-respected research focuses on numerical analysis and scientific computation with applications to porous media fluid flow, such as ground water and oil recovery modeling. His research program in the Texas A&M Department of Mathematics has a strong track record of funding support from both federal and industry sources, including the National Science Foundation, the United States Department of Energy and Chevron.
